Thanks Tammy, I want to do mugs because our coffee loving parents will like that and the youngers for drinks, but I did not want to upset dreams for any reason.

I just like the idea of koozies since they would pack smaller :)

Wow! this was actually on my list of things to find out or ask Yesica!!
Now i can cross that off my list!! smile29.gif You guys are great!! smile03.gif

Hmmm.. This may be a long shot but, since the question above was answered, i thought i'd give it a shot.. But, would any of you know if the dream's can keep/store some of your wedding stuff prior to the wedding? If i'm able to bring my misc. item's like my colored dinner napkin's, my flip flops for my guest, and some of my oot item's? I just don't want to lugg more than i have to in January if can bring some with me now. I've already warned all of my wedding party that i will be giving them 1 suitcase each for them to bring for me and i promised to buy them a drink at the bar.. that was the joke i told them all, cause the alcohol is free!!! smile120.gif

Hello all, I am a groom, but thought this would be the most appropriate place to post. I am getting married at Dreams in May, 2010 and there seems to be some new policies with regards to vendors. I reached out to DJ Ricardo (per many of your great reviews) and he said he cannot give me a rate at the moment b/c of some changing policies at the resort. Has anyone else experienced this issue with any vendor at this hotel?

Here is part of Ricardo's email just to give you an idea:

Thank you for your time and the information provided; for the upcoming 2010 events we are not have a rate yet, because there are some issues that we are sure what to do and determine; one of this issue is the venue you are getting married at they changed their policies for vendors to provide services.

If anyone can add some perspective I'd be greatly appreciative. You'd think a hotel that is a major destination for weddings would be more accommodating to its guests.
