Also, when did everyone pick things like flowers, decorations (chair bows, linens, etc) and things like that?  I've asked my wedding coordinator and can't get a straigt answer.  He isn't sending me enough information to make selections yet he hasn't told me that I should just wait.  If I should just wait and make the selections when I'm down there a few days before the wedding that is fine but he hasn't told me if that is what I should do.

Thanks for your help!

I used the salon for my hair and makeup and I was really happy with my hair, my makeup needed a little touchup afterwards.  I can post pictures once I get them back but just be prepared for the ladies in the salon to not speak much English and bring pictures with you of what you want.  As for picking the decor, you have up until your wedding week at dreams to change or add anything. You'll sit down and meet with the WC a couple days before to go over everything.  I would research what you want now and then you have a while to change your mind or add things once you're at the resort.

It took about 1 week for me to get mine.

As for picking flowers etc. i mostly spend hours pouring over all the great info on BDW regarding dreams. I just sent pics of what I wanted and how much it would cost. I found that if I asked them what the options were, the choices they emailed me were dated and too few. I maintained a power point presentation of everything and just sent the WC the details about 2-3 weeks out to make sure it worked for them.

They are soo good at this stuff, really honestly, they have delt with just about every wrench you could think of. Try to keep that in mind as you plan.

Hey Ladies,

We are putting together our webinar schedule for BDW.  These webinars are great because not only can you get YOUR questions answered but also hear answers to questions from other brides that you may not have even though of :)

Webinars are a great way to not only hear directly from the wedding department but see the wedding packages that they offer, ceremony/reception pics, etc.

I try to only limit the webinars to once every 2 weeks so we of course can not do all resorts.

Please vote on which resorts you would like to have webinars on...you can choose more than 1.

Ok ladies, We are reserved for our wedding at Dreams. My question is for those who have already had there weddings, we are having a small wedding with 1 attendant on each side and a jr bridesmaid. Guest list will be anywhere from 10-20 people. Are we better off going with the small package that they offer or am I better off getting flowerist and stuff on my own?
