Torn between Ibeorstar Paraiso del Mar and Gran Caribe Real

Hi,

I have been looking at resorts quite a bit and reading as many reviews as possible.  I am now stuck between IB Paraiso del Mar and The Gran Caribe Real.  Both have chapels which is important to us.  The Gran Caribe's looks a little nicer to me.  The pricing for our guests would be less expensive at the IB and the wedding itself seems like it would be slightly less expensive as well.  Both look like beautiful resorts and are family friendly.  If anyone has an input on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry no one has responded yet! I don't know much about IB, but my fiance and I are getting married at The Royal and having our reception at The Gran Caribe Real.. When I saw the chapel I wanted to get married there so badly!! But neither of us are Catholic so they wouldn't allow it (LOL).. In the end, we chose the Gran so our guests would have the option of staying at an adults only (The Royal) or Gran Caribe (family resort) but more imortantly my fiance and I wanted to have our reception on a rooftop.. The Gran has two to choose from...

 

I can tell you that so far I am quite happy with my WC and the communication between us and I am constantly on TripAdvisor looking for updated pics and reviews..
