I am in the process of making my 1st one.  I just gained some helpful tips fro you.  I think I need to start over again!!girl_werewolf.gif

Glad this helped! Let me know if you have any questions! Good luck!

Loved the bouquet! I'm not getting married until 2013 but i've already started collected the brooches and I actually ordered some from the same site you used. This was the best tutorial i've seen yet and i'm glad how you explained where and how you stored your bouquets, I have been worried about what to do with mine since i'm starting on it so early!

I put mine in small vases, then in plastic bags, in my guest room closet. I did them super early also, but they worked out just fine. Keep them out of light and too much humidity and you should be ok! :-)

Brooch bouquets can be super expensive but there's no reason you can't make it yourself. I truly believe that given enough time and good instruction, anyone can make one.

I made a video How-To DIY tutorial that clearly illustrates how you can make your very own brooch bouquet. You'll see options for where and how to attach wire, using flowers for fillers, etc.

You can read through my tutorial and watch the video at www.DomesticatedMe.com.

Also, I'm going to be giving away $200 of brooches. I'm sure that will come very handy!
