Our Wedding Website!

Our website is all created and up for viewing!  We built it all ourselves, that's what you get for having two techies getting married!  I just didn't really like those other template websites out there, it wasn't as custom as I was looking for and usually a little too sappy for our taste  

 

We also really wanted to save on Invitations, so we sent out our boarding pass STD magnets (those will be in another post  ) and just directed everyone here to RSVP!

OH, and a special note: the website doesn't look as fantastic in Internet Explorer than it does in Firefox or Google Chrome browsers...perhaps it's only known to development folk, but IE is a pretty trash browser and takes a ton of work to make look nearly as pretty as FF or Chrome....and I have more fun things to do (like pick out flowers and dresses!!)

This is awesome!!!

I was looking into how to do this today.  Did you use "godaddy" or a similar website to get a custom url forwarded?  or are you hosting your own page?

Did you use a website generator/builder?  or did you just write all this code yourself?

Let me know!  Looks awesome.  I love the little personal touches and that you have info about your guests.  I'm using beach bum travel too!!  Question -- did you mail your guests this packet as well or just put it on your website?
