I was in Office Depot at 180 - 94 Ave SW yesterday. Apparently, Office Depot (all stores) are pulling out of Canada by mid-June....big clearance--everything must go! I got tropical stationary and envelopes with matching thank you cards, the large name card stock(8 inches) - to be used at top of Survival kits, business card stock, etc...for cheap! They have so much for DIY projects! I got a bag of 50 plastic thingies (LOL) to attach luggage tag to luggage for 50 cents! Was also in Micheals and in their hidden clearance rack they had loads of wedding stuff ...invites, etc...

Has anyone found actual first aid kits? You know the small ones made of hard plastic with complete contents? The US brides seem to find them everywhere...but I've checked a dozen places and haven't found anything I consider reseasonably priced...really don't want to pay $10 per kit. Thanks.

They have those first aid kits at the Dollarama in the NE (on 32nd Ave I think?) and I think I might have also seen them at Dollar Giant!

No, they closed the beginning of June...no more in Canada.

Does anyone know of a good place to shop for destination wedding things in Calgary? How about recommending a GOOD but affordable place for wedding dresses in Calgary? I don't want to spend 1000 dollars on a beach dress.. but i still want something nice... any suggestuions would be great!

I have posted this in the for sale thread also but thought Calgary brides might want to save on shipping.  I have now finished all my DIY projects and have 7 bags of seashells left over. Bags unopened, all in good shape and misc natural shades of shells (not colours). Six of the bags cost $11.99 and one cost $9.99. I was married in Oct. 2011 at Dreams Pam Beach (fabulous place, highly recommend). I am located in Calgary and am now finally clearly out the post wedding items.
