LOST MY WALLET WITH LICENSE!!!! LEAVE NEXT WEEK!!!!

ok--sort of freaking out here. i lost my wallet over the weekend. yea. and we leave this coming monday, may 9th for our civil ceremony at secrets maroma beach!!!!!!!!

 

the contents of my wallet contained my credit cards and my drivers license. credit cards are being shiped overnight and i should receive them by tomorrow or wednesday. thats good. but my license?! do i really need that??? because i don't think i can get it in time. i have my passport and *think* that is all that i need to travel internationally and i have my birth certificate which i *think* is all i need for the civil ceremony. right?? please tell me i don't need my drivers license. please for the love of pete tell me i don't need my drivers license!!!

Yes, all you need to travel is your passport. For the civil ceremony it depends on where you get married, but all you should need is a certified copy of your birth certificate and maybe your passport. I know some places asked my sister for photo id when she used her credit card, but they accepted her costco card. You would only need your license if you planned on renting a vehicle.

 

Don't worry. You'll be fine. If you're really worried you should be able to go to licensing bureau for a temp license.
