Something old....

Okay, here is a couple questions. I have LOTS of time to figure this out, but I am trying to plan things a little at a time. Spread it out, you know? Anyway, my question is, how old is your "something old"? And do you "have" to wear it (I know you don't HAVE to do anything, but traditionally-speaking...)? Ditto for something borrowed? I am thinking about using my parents' cake-cutter set from when they were married, but since it is at the reception, do you think it "counts"?

You can really do whatever you want to do! My something old will be a pair of stud earrings from my mom.  I'm still not sure of what my something borrowed will be.

Oh that would be so sweet... I kind of wish we were having a ring bearer now, just so I can steal that idea! Excellent!

I had a small glass button from my grandfather´s suit jacket sewn into the inside hem of my gown, way at the bottom where it blended right in. I loved the idea that only I (and people I had told) knew it was there.

My friend did something similar - she pinned a piece of her mom's wedding gown to the inside hem of her dress.

What a wonderful idea! So sweet and meaningful... Maybe I should think of something like that, especially since I am so close with my grandma and she will be unable to attend.... What a great thought!
