We leave in one week from today as well. How are you doing?    Are you packed and ready to go?  I feel like I'm forgeting something.  I'm frantically trying to get all of the paperwork together for seating and rooms to the resort today.  I also have to print my escort cards/table seating plan, create the ceremony program, vows and the reception script!!  If that isn't enough already, I have to find inspiration pictures for my hair and makeup.

Afterwards, I'm going to continue packing my clothing and decorations and hope I'm not overweight.

I will start to think I am doing pretty good, and then I will remember more things that I have forgotten... LOL!  I also still have a lot of paperwork to print to take with me.  We still need to finalize our ceremony script, work on our music choices, put a script together for introductions, and other things like that.  I have started pulling the wedding stuff all together, but will start to officially pack on Saturday.  I am hoping that it all fits, and there is room for clothes!

I just got back from my wedding in Mexico.  We had a total of 9 bags (between my daughter, hubby and myself).

Trust me...it was a breeze getting through customs.  I began to panic about two days before reading the threads about having to have receipts.....it was not even neccessary.  The customs agent did ask me to open one of the bags with the OOT items (it had the travel mugs & pepto & immodium).  Once they saw my dress and I told them in spanish "Vamos A cacer (sp?)..."we are getting married)....They just let me through.  Dont worry....just be prepared to open your bag.  They are just looking for people that bring in goods for sale in their country.

Good Luck!

Seriously, you just stopped my panic attack!  I have been worrying non-stop and I keep reading all of these things about receipts and things I have no receipts I am thinking I am screwed!  I am currently trying to fit things into suite cases so I will see how many extra we need to bring!  Again thank you so much for letting me know I have been freaking!!!!
