Great job girl!!  I can't wait to hear how Asylum goes.

Right now I just do random stuff, some days I workout twice a day, others I skip.  I really miss having a schedule to follow day to day but on the days were things are just too crazy I am glad I don't feel like I missed anything.  So weird haha.

I took before pics and I think I'll consider my BD pics are my after photos LOL.

I have my after picture in my swimsuit, a little leary about posting them on the site, PM me if you would like to see my end result.

My post Insanity picture will be my Pre Asylum picture, 30 more days of sweating it out with Shaun T!!! I cant wait!! I start on Monday :)

simple move for the lower abs - lie on your back on the floor, raise your legs to 90 degrees, then hike your feet up to the ceiling and lift your butt off the floor while you do it. then return to 90 degrees. repeat. LOVE that one - feels pretty easy but great for strengthening lower abs.

F U Shaun T.!!!!!!!!!  Today was my first day of pure cardio and WOW! I always feel like I m not going to make it through but when it is all done I feel AMAZING!!!! My core already feels tighter! We took front on "before" shots but I wish we took side and back too!!! I had my first fitting yesterday and I was happy I had done my 3 days of Insanity before it and can only hope my body looks EVEN better before the next one!!!

Ladies, I am inspired & think I want to try this. I've been working out on my own at the gym for the past 7 months and I've lost 42lbs! Want to lose another 25lbs before my March wedding, but I know I need to be a bit more drastic in order to accomplish this. I've been doing about 45 minutes of cardio (running, Eliptical, cycling) and 15 min of weight training 5-6X per week.

A few tactical questions - how much are the DVDs? And for those of you who live in apartment buildings.....is the jumping really out of control? I don't want to piss off the neighbors! ;)

Getting excited to try something new and get some more results!

yes, there is a lot of jumping. if you're upstairs, your neighbors will definitely hear it. you could take out the jumps, but there's still tons of jogging in place, jumping jacks, and other moves that would make noise for someone down below. maybe you can schedule your workouts while they're not at home (or just agree it's going to be a bit loud for an hour a day).

the dvds are expensive, but I got a bootleg copy off craigslist for $50. some of the bonus dvds don't work, but that doesn't interfere with the planned workout. (note: I didn't know this was bootlegged at the time, as it came shrinkwrapped and looked exactly like the original. the seller told me it was on sale because the Asylum was coming out soon, so they were selling Insanity for less through certain retailers). anyhow, I'd check craigslist, especially for originals that people aren't using.

congrats on your progress at the gym!! I think this will help you shed the rest no problem, although you may want to do it closer to March (say January start) so you won't be worried about maintaining. best of luck.
