Its week 2 for me! LOL! Last year when I did it I was sooooo proud of myself for gaining endurance and sticking it through, thought week 5 was going to be smooth sailing....nope...I felt the EXACT same way I did on day 1 and thought, "how is this POSSIBLE" LOL! But I love it! I love the sweat and the agony! I cant wait to end this 60 days and step into the Asylum!

Keep me updated, I love having someone to talk to about all this!

@sxcT,

I'm just like you in that I have started and stopped Insanity so many times. I re-started last Monday and did all six days for the very first time.

I just finished Cardio Power and Resistance for week 2. Like you I feel like I have improved so much and like you I hope I can make it through the 60 days this time.

Great job girl!!  Keep it up...be consistent and push yourself!

I just finished up my recovery and I am so scared to start the second month today.  Fit Test and Max Circuit...YIKES!!

I want to push myself a lot more because I feel like I wasn't doing that enough near the end of month 1.  I shall report back tomorrow.

I am so determined to finish this month!!

O-M-G!! Max Interval is INSANE!!!!

This workout really lives up to its name.  I can't believe the stuff we have to do.  It's really intense.

But what I reminded myself is that the workout has to be just as hard the first week as it is the last week.  So I kept telling myself that I just need to go at my own pace instead of trying to keep up with them.  Even the people in there were falling out and Shaun T even stopped and took breaks.  But that is why I love it....it pushes you no matter what fitness level you are at.  I am sore all over which I haven't felt in a long time.  I hope the second week gets easier and I'm not as sore.  This workout will definitely get you lean and ripped!!

I am in my final week of Phase I, I cant wait for Phase II cause like you I dont feel like im pushing myself as hard! But I know Phase II is KILLER...and for an HOUR instead of the 40 minutes we've been doing!

I cant wait to finish this 2nd round of insanity!!! I ordered P90X2 this week, its not supposed to be out until December, but thats just enough time for me to be really tone for my wedding date! Im so excited....I didnt even know they were working on a new version of P90X! I should be done with Insanity by the end of October, then done with the Asylum by the end of November! Hopefuly P90X2 comes out the first week of December so I can have a one week break and then get into pushing myself again!!!

I'm gonna have to look into Asylum.  Gotta keep up the intensity even once I get back because my AHR isn't until Feb and I am definitely wearing my dress again.  bride.gif

Have to watch myself thru the holidays this year.

I do see some slight changes.  Legs are definitely leaning out, arms are getting tighter and stronger, abs are always looking good in the morning (can't say the same in the evening after eating and downing boat loads of water after the workout haha).  My biggest issue is my legs.  They are thick, muscular and hold lots of water.  So I really hope month 2 can lean them out a bit more and tighten that backside since I'm gonna be prancing around in a bikini for 10 days. bootyshake.gif

Thanks for the encouragement kellygrrrl

Wow, you ladies are truly an inspiration (doesn't mean I'm going to go pop the DVD in yet I will consider it again)

I must admit I did it for 2 weeks and absolutely loved the way I felt. I would get up in the morning before work do my 40 minute work out and then tackle the day.  Issue is (solely cosmetic of course) is that I am a nappy head chic and my hair has been pressed for the last 2 months and I really don't want my scalp to sweat.  Yet then again, my mother told me to get back at it, wrap it up with a scarf and throw a hat on.  So since, I am less than 60 days, maybe I will pick back up this Saturday, just skip the first fitness test!!!

I will report back and let you ladies know if me & Shaun had a session

Girl just do it!!  You will be so happy you did.  I know how you feel about your hair and sweating but what is more important....having nice clean hair now or having the body you want for your wedding and for the pictures you will have forever.

Hope I'm not being too blunt....just trying to put it into perspective for you!!  :)
