Dresses in tropical heat

I tried on a lot of dresses that were just way too much.  I'm getting married in the summer in Thailand, so I decided on a short dress.  I was also worried about a breezy dress with a breezy beach often means the dress is clung to your legs (i've seen some not too flattering destination wedding pictures).  But those are just thoughts, good luck on your search!

I went with a light charmeuse dress that had detailing on the bodice, but the skirt was pretty simple and lightweight, and a chapel length train.  But I've seen many brides in larger ballgowns and survived because it's what they wanted on their wedding day - go with what you envision and what would make you comfortable with the weather.  Good luck!
