Hey Ladies,

 

Just wondering if anyone knows the ettiquette on sending out wedding invitations. I sent out Save the Dates 9-10 months before our wedding date. We're getting married April.26th. We have 41 people booked with our group rate, but we know of atleast 10 -15 other people planning on booking closer to. So my question is do I send the formal wedding invitations to everyone I invited to the wedding or just to the people that we know are coming?? and when do we send them out?

@chrisdeluca: i was in the same boat as you. I sent out STD 11mnth before, it also did say on my STD , formal invitation to follow, please RSVP online to get yours, When i was sending out my formal invites i already knew who was going or not, i planned on sending them out to ppl who was booked and going, BUT at the end said screw it, and send it to everyone as a formal thing...oh well... i gave all my people to RSVP 8wks prior to departure.

Skygirl, thanks so much for the info...online when I looked it seemed ppl went both ways with it. I think I'm going to send everyone the wedding invitations bc I too stated formal invitation to follow on my std. Plus by sending them to everyone I might get some last minuters LOL

Does anyone have a general idea of how much we should give everyone for tips??Like the WC, DJ/MC, photographer/videographer, Pastor?!? Cuz I have no idea, but I'd like to budget for this!

 

Also, to anyone who has already gotten married here and brought most of their decorations, how much did they charge you to set them up?? Like chair sashes, centerpieces, etc??
