What have brides done for music during the reception? we only have 3 hours by the pool. I am wondering if I should pay for the ipod dock for after the dinner. Or if we should have music playing during the dinner. And do I bring my Ipod from here with all the downloaded music??? Or is it worth getting the DJ... i lost my list of DJ prices and Silvia has not gotten back to me yet.

@kchenard Hello :-) We hired DJ Mannia for our wedding reception...service was for 4 hours and we added some extras and it was less than the resort; however, did pay vendor fee day pass of $150...but well worth it because they include a lot more than resort DJ. This is the website:

@kchenard - My wedding is 3 days before you and I'm having my reception at the pool as well!  With only 3 hours, it didn't seem worth getting a dj for us, by the time dinner is finished there is really only maybe 2 hours of dance time.. Also, money wise we are done with spending... So we are just paying for the sound system and have set up an IPod with different files - dinner music, dance music, etc.  I guess it depends on budget!
