Post what colors you chose for your wedding!

I'd like to see some examples of Color palettes that other brides have chosen for their weddings. Please if you can show how you incorporated that color palette throughout your wedding (invites, centerpieces, bouquets, etc), and tell how easily or uneasily it was done to get your desired effect.

 

I am a budget bride trying to do a silver/pink/yellow wedding and I have no idea how to do it so seeing others pulling off their color schemes I think will help.

Red is one of my favorite color and I’m using red in your wedding, I setup in my mind red bride gown, shoe, invitations, bouquets and decoration with red flower. I will decorate the white wedding cake with fresh strawberry and red flowers. Thanks for sharing.

I am doing orange & fuschia. I think the bright colors look beautiful with the tropical background. In my invites I have orange & pink hibiscus flowers. I will be wearing pink shoes & a pink hair flower. My bouquet will have the same colors as well as the cake & center piece flowers.  I plan on having pink chair sashes on top of the white linen covered chairs too.

You should check out some of the planning threads. A lot of ladies post pics of how everything looked & came out to get an idea.

Thank you! After lurking I did find some planning threads, but I am just going to have to post my own as no one included silver in a pink and yellow them as much as I will. =)

I'm doing grey and yellow My invites are going to be silver and white with yellow touches. My bridesmaids will be in grey and I hope we can have yellow flowers for the bouquets. The guys will be in black or grey suits and I want to get them yellow ties but I'll have to see what they think about that. Yellow is my favourite colour but I know that it's not for everyone. 

Decoration for the reception will be mostly neutral (white or grey) with pops of yellow here and there like in the centerpieces.. still have to figure those out! I want to hang lanterns, mostly white with a few yellow.

Yeah that's what I was thinking of doing but using pink as well! I'm leaning towards using manzanita (SP?) branches in silver for the centerpieces but I'm not sure yet. =)

I'm using shades of purple and greens. We're using my FI's burberry tie for colour inspirations.

We will be using purple and orange as our main colors.  I found this invitation thorugh an etsy seller and fell i love with it.  Kept trying to go the "romantic" light pinks and green route and kept coming back to this purple and orange theme... It all fell into place when I found a simple two tier cake (will be included in our package) and realized I could do an all white orchid bouquet with purple centers...

Has anyone gone the black and white route. I want a black and white wedding even though we will be in Mexico. My maid or honor (my sister) is not having it and says black and white is ugly for a beach wedding has anyone had back and white or plans on black and white and regretted it or just the opposite loved it? Let me know what you think! Thanks
