I have just started planning and am already coming up with questions. Are most of you who planning to have your hair and makeup done in PV before you take the catamaran or are you hiring a pro to come to the island? I can see the benefits and potential problems with both options. For those brides who alreay experienced Las Caletas, do you have any advice on this.

I think I am one of the few Las Caletas brides that actually hired the professional to come out to Caletas and do my hair. It's definitely pricey ($300 I think), but with my hair, I just didn't want to deal with it - it was worth it for me! I think most people do their own, or have a friend/family member help them. Doing it before going over might pose to be an issue, unless you have the ability to touch it up when you get there. Are you going over early, or with the whole group? If you go over early, you might want to play in the water, etc. and may not want to do your hair beforehand.
