newbie! Just got engaged!!!

Hi everyone!!!

I just came across this site and think its fabulous!  Me and my fiance recently got engaged and are planning on getting married in Maui next January.  I got an awesome wedding planner-Kara from youralohaweddings.com  There are three places I'm considering, has anyone heard any positives or negatives about these, Wailea Marriott, Makena Beach and Golf Resort and Honua Kai.

Congrats on your engagement!  Maui is a beautiful place!  The Marriott at Wailea is absolutely beautiful.  The grounds are beautiful and there are many different places to get married.  Makena Beach is also really nice, but can be super busy with weddings, and also there are no chairs or anything allowed on the beach, therefore, your guests all have to stand!  Good luck choosing, and happy planning:)

HELLLO BRIDES!

Looks like I finally joined the tribe of brides to be! Im super
excited, nervous & already stressing as Im sure you are all as well,
lol.

Since my fiance and I took our first vacation together to Mexico and
were engaged in Mexico, we have decided to wed in Mexico as well! I
had the opportunity to do one site vist while we were there during our
engagement week last month and have been doing TONS of research on
similar boutique hotels in the same region.

Our site visit was at Ceiba Del Mar. We met with Diana and she gave us
a tour of the resort and explained our options to us. I loved the
authentic and intimate feel of the hotel and am considering it as one
of my options. I have also researched a few other resorts that I would
GREATLY appreciate your feedback on ladies:-)
