Guest book postcards in OOT bags

We were successful! At the beginning of the reception near our guestbook we placed the cards. Then we just made an announcement at the beginning of dinner what they were for. My guest loved them and they are really nice. We just received the last one yesterday. I have control issues, lol, so I didn't trust that they wouldn't walk off and get lost so I addressed, stamped and mailed them myself, lol.

I do love this idea and have been wanting to add them to my OOT bag but now I am second guessing if it will just be a waste of money! It would be so great to receive postards in the mail in the weeks following the wedding. Hmmm. Has anyone had success with this?!? Maybe if I include a little note so people realize what it is actually for...

interesting i might try that one.  Mail them prior to leaving.  Did they all arrive on the same day?

Such a cute idea, I think having the front desk send them sounds like the smartest option and the way to get the most back.
