Sara Tamargo

I've booked Sara Tamargo but wanted to get some advice from other brides that have used her...

there seems to be little information out there.. but the few she has worked with seem to absolutely recommend her. I'm super excited to have her do my make-up and hair, I know it'll be great...

 

... but I was a little leery that after booking she did not require a deposit or contract. It's so laid back, I feel like there's no way for me to tell if she'll show for my wedding - just have to take her word for it I guess. I know she comes from a reputable place being the sister of Sol from Del Sol..... Bridezilla in me wants a contract to confirm everything!

 

Could anyone post a review on this thread and photos if you've worked with Sara for your wedding? I would love to see and love to hear.

Adridashanne - I have the same concern.  I'm not even sure if I booked her, because the last time I emailed her she never wrote back.  But I'm not positive I will use her, because the resort charges a $90 day pass for every person I bring on-site.  If she brings a hair person too, that's $180 just to bring them on-site.  So I was considering just having Sara do my makeup, but not hair.  But I'm not sure if she would be willing to drive to my resort, because it's 1.5 hours drive from Cancun. (Gran Bahia Principe Tulum).

Sara is a cool gal... I agree though, she should be charging a deposit and or have a contract so you gal's can have a piece of  mind when you do commission her.

 

She recently did makeup for this bride....plus her gals.

I am a little worried too.  I booked Sara a couple months ago to do my wedding.  I have emailed her because I need the hair stylists name as well to get them access to the resort, but she hasn't responded.  I am not really sure what to do.

Hi Zelda,

I emailed Sara again this week.  I realized I was writing to her hotmail address.  If her hotmail is anything like mine, it is full of junk mail and I no longer check it.  So I wrote her to this other address instead: [email protected] and she wrote back a few hours later.  Also she gave me her phone number.  You can send me a private message if you want her phone number.
