Ok LUCA came back to me already.  They said we can just offer them the main course, which would be about $30 per person - I can deal with that.  But I'm still wondering what people are doing about seating the vendors.

I've read a few different things, but the consensus seems to be anyone who will be with you at that time, or who is working for a long time.  So photographer - they are there and are probably also spending most of the day with you.  Band/DJ.  Coordinator if yours is staying (I think mine is).  That's probably all we're feeding.

I didn't even think of that but our coordinator is an employee of the hotel and our photographer is leaving before dinner.  Only person I guess we'd worry about is the DJ but he's only going to be working our wedding for 3 hours.  I don't think we're obligated to do a vendor dinner in our case.

Just out of curiosity, how are you timing things so that you still get cake cutting, first dance, toasts photographed if your photographer is leaving before dinner?  I'm trying to figure out a smooth way to make that work too.  Are you just doing all of those things at the very beginning of the reception?

I will only contact people via text message or email.  It won't be too bad I suppose but it really irks me that I have to follow up.  I suspect between now and the 18th I will hear from a few more folks.

$340 is a sweeeeet deal!  I find even if there's a good deal, people will drag their feet until the very last moment. You do have to hound them. Also you know what, NO BRIDE is patient during the wedding planning process because people act retarded when it comes to weddings and the proper etiquette and all that. It sucks and I'm sorry, I don't find it to be fun lol   Looking forward to it all being done. I sometimes wish I had kept it even smaller!

So how did you end up with RSVPs?  Also, I'm sorry if you said this somewhere already, but have you booked someone for hair?
