Riu Cabo Bride

Hello Ladies...I am getting married at the Riu Los Cabos in October. Originally I was planning a small ceremony of about ten people but know it has turned to 30-40. Many of them are not staying at the hotel because it is sold out for that weekend. If any of you have gotten married there I have a few questions because I am the biggest procrastinator and now it is getting close to the deadline.

We purchased the most expensive package, however since most people are not staying there is it even worth it. I know we will have to pay extra for the people not staying at the resort. Did any of you experience the same?

Also who is the photographer they use? I know one is included but I don't know the name...any suggestions?

How is the included cake? Can you upgrade or is it standard.

For us, the middle package was plenty - we had originally thought the most expensive was the way to go but then changed our minds. I think you only get a couple spa treatments with the biggest package, and well we wouldn't have used them.

I used an outside photographer, Adriana was never able to show me work of the resort photographer.

The cake is pretty standard- although I think one bride did get an extra cake (more$$) because she had a lot of people.

I got married at Riu in May, I got the middle package which was great for us. The cake is standard. I sent the WC a picture of what I wanted and they replicated it. The hotel photographer was pretty good. I had an outside photographer but the hotel guy did the ceremony aswell. I have his email if you want it, just let me know

I wonder if it is too late to change to the middle package. As far as music did any of you use the live music? Also any advice on the location of the reception did you use the restaurant or have it privite for the extra fee?

All this info is great thanks!
