Yup, if you can't get #1 in Platinum, then I definitely would pick #3. I just love platinum, and DH LOVES his platinum ring. It was definitely a splurge for us (it's Tacori) but he still talks about it all the time...go platinum!

I liked #1, it feels more manly. The 2nd one, 2-tone contrast is a little too much. We're looking at 2-tone ring for my FI also, but it will be tungsten & sterling silver.

Oh I like that alot! but, I definitely want to get his ring from Ireland. He will love that fact the most -- and it being truly Celtic/Irish.

I think I am going with #3 ... because I can get it in the Platinum that he wants ... plus it looks like #1 will be difficult to kep clean with all the ridges and deep set intricacies.
