I am getting married at Beaches Sandy Bay next year as well. The end of the year though. LOL How has your planning been going? What wedding package and reception option did you choose?

If you ladies have sent me a PM w/ your email I certainly hope I have gotten back to all of you with the pics!  I have been super busy transitioning into a new position at work.

I am 6mos from my wedding and get more excited every month.  I am still him-hawing over invitations and OOT bag contents!  UGH.  Other than that all is well.  I havent spoke to Chloe in a while - not much to discuss-lol.  I am not adding a lot of accessories to my BB wedding ceremony or reception.  I have enough friends and rooms booked to get the "free" rehearsal dinner thats exciting.  I am sure my head will start to spin in the next couple months worrying about these things!

I know Chloe has been out for about a wk but she is a great email corresponder which is my preference.

No worries, :-) I understand how that goes. What are you doing for OOT bags? I have decided to send out luggage tags with our invitations as like an added bonus for our guest. :-) I have enough rooms as well to get the "free rehersal dinner" but we are going to use that as the "welcome dinner" I guess that is the same thing. HA HA. Well keep me updated on your planning. I was hope Cbrewster share some pics and ideas as she will be getting married at Beaches Negril this month.  Happy Planning. :-)

I have chloe as my wedding coordiantor as well. :-) Did you do a group contract? If so how did that work for you?

I heard that the Sandy Bay resort is right next to the actual Beaches resort... Is this true? And they have some inexpensive packages compared to Beaches?

Well, Beaches Sandy Bay is actually a Beaches Resort as well. You have Beaches Boscobel(In Ocho Rios) Beaches Turks & Caicos(In Turks & Caicos), Beaches Negril(This is literally five minutes from Beaches Sandy bay also much bigger and more expensive so I have been told) then you have Beaches Sandy Bay. Beaches Sandy Bay is smaller than Beaches Negril and it is cheaper as well. As in Packages are you talking about Wedding packages? If so they are all the same because they are all part of the beaches/sandals packages. Also if you stay at Beaches Sandy Bay you can take a shuttle to beaches Negril and enjoy their resort for free as well. I am getting married at Beaches Sandy Bay next year and I can't wait to go. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask away.  I am very knowledable about some of the things regarding the resort because I have been planning my wedding for a couple of months now and still have over a year to go. HA HA. So please feel free to ask whatever you would like to know and I will try and help you. :-)

Hi ladies! My Avatar picture is actually form my best friend's beach reception at Beaches Negril last June. It was beautiful and none of you will be disapponted!! And yes, the resorts are just about 5 minutes apart. We stayed at Negril, but there were guests that a stayed at Sandy Bay and they came back and forth frequently. The only thing is the shuttle does stop at a certain point in the evening so you could need a cab. I know you will all have beautiful weddings so try not to stress!!!

 

Side note: Make sure you go to Rick's Cafe!!! The sunset and water is to die for!!! Also, go on the Catamaran cruise if you can. We went on the sunset one actually with some Sandals couples and it was one of the high points of our trip. It is a blast and you get to see parts of the island you otherwise wouldn't. Ours actually did stop at Rick's as well, which was awesome because we loved it there so  much!! Happy planning!!!
