Any Mississauga or GTA Brides with tips on Travel Agencies?

Does anyone have any recommendations on travel agencies in the Mississauga area? I'm just starting my planning but it'd be great to know who's good and who to stay away from! Thanks!!

Hi,

I live in Mississauga and I feel your frustration.I have been doing some research on travel agents myself. I am trying to book my wedding for November 2011. So far I have tried Escapes.ca and Marlin travel. Stay away from Marlin Travel, they charge a marlin fee on top of your package? This fee is exclusive to Marlin. I found this wierd.

Stay away from Marlin Travel in Bolton. I found them at the Toronto Wedding Show in Mississauga and dealing with them has been a complete nightmare! I do a lot of traveling and really should have stuck with a local agent vs. trying someone new based on pricing and freebies. Good luck in your search!

I think any agencies now have a wedding department and can offer extra assistance with weddings. A year ago I had Flight Centre in Toronto call me as they wanted to work together. They mentioned they have specialized wedding department.

I'd recommend itravel2000.com. They're based out of Ontario and I'm from MB. We had 30 guests book through them and I found them to be the cheapest. Stephanie was our agent and she was awesome!
