Barcelo Wedding!!

I rented my decor outside the resort for the reception.  That was only because I wanted something different and that's not to say the resort couldn't have done it for me.  But just the way I am personality wise, I wanted it taken care of before hand.  I have attached a photo of my decor.

The girls will keep your date until you put your deposit down, so don't worry about that. I totally understand its hard to put faith in one of the most important days of your life, but it all works out the way it is suppose to in the end.  And also, remember, the day is about your marriage, not about the minor details no one notices but the bride.

I am torn between a couple resorts and this is one of them. Everything sounds fantastic ..so now i'm looking at little details from previous forums...My little concern was people were saying the pools were not warm.I was wondering it this was a concern or maybe it has be changed. My wedding is in Feb.. so def not the warmest time..thank you

Hello! I am planning a Cabo wedding, and am looking at Dreams Los Cabos and the Barcelo. So far, Dreams has been terrible to respond (2 requests about 2 weeks apart, no response). I sent a request to Barcelo this morning, and got a very quick and helpful response from Abigail. Which package did you go with? And did you customize it a lot? Do you have any tips/ hints/ suggestions? We are aiming for May 12, 2012... so there is a lot of time to plan... but I would feel a lot better if I could get the resort booked and sorted out. Thank you so much

hi there!!! so just give you a heads up, if you look through this feed, you will notice that you won't get much of a response from Barcelo afterwards. They tend to communicate more with you more closer to the date. So if you have your date booked- just sit back and start to sort out the numbers going to your wedding.

 

It will be hard, trust me i know. But you will get a lot of support and advice on here from the other girls. I am getting married in October this year, we are going with the mint breeze. If you have facebook, go to the barcelo los cabos page and there will be a lot of info and experiences on there. Majority of the girls end up planning their wedding the day they arrive on the resort and the coordinators do the most amazing job EVER!!!!!!! SO DON'T WORRY!!!!! and good luck!

Mint Breeze is what I am looking at as well! I am just waiting for a revised quote because I wanted to make some changes to the package. I think I have to snap out of Vancouver time, and embrace Mexican time How far in advance did you guys book? And were they accomodating for any changes that you wanted to make (if any)?

Hi Ladies! My wedding is booked for Feb 2012 at Barcelo. =) We decided on this resort over Dreams and Riu Palace because Dreams was just too pricey for our guests and Barcelo seems to be in a class all on it's own- it's gorgeous and New! 

 

We are going with the Strawberry Passion wedding package.  The reason we did not choose the mint breeze was because we definitely wanted an outdoor reception- we're in Cabo afterall! 

Let me know if you have any questions about planning so far- we're just in the details but we've done our deposits and contract, etc.

Its soo difficult, so torn between the RiU Palace and Barcelo.... just have to wait to see what the numbers look like from the travel agents.!!

hey!!! I just had my wedding at the Barcelo on the 24th of October and I just want to say that it was the most amazing experience!!!! It was absolutley perfect! The wedding coordinators did an amazing job and I couldn't have asked for more!!!!

we took the mint breeze package and we had our ceremony at the gazebo, our reception inside the banquet hall ( which everyone thanked for in the end as it was sooooo humid and hot outside) Abigail and Ariadna are the two coordinators working at the Barcelo, they know what they are doing. We had the reception go until 1am as I was doing it inside so it was allowed to go later.

I hired Marcie Castro for my music ( ceremony and reception) and she was exceptional!!!! 

Alina Gomez did my cupcakes and cakes and they were so tasty!!!!

 

Girls may stress about the lack of communcation- but trust me!!!!!! they had 6 weddings mine being the 6th so you have to try and understand that they are very busy and 1-2 months before you are heading to the resort they DO get in touch with you, just focus on securing your date and then sit back and decide what you want and have everything laid out for the girls when they get in touch with you.
