punta cana - ceremony time help!

I really cant decide on this one...as our reception will be at 6:30/7 pm...Should i have my beach ceremony at 3pm or 5pm? Advise would be great!!

If you are planning on having your pictures taken in between I would definitely say 3pm.  We originally planned to have our ceremony at 5pm (7pm reception) and after reading posts from many brides on this forum I am going to move it earlier so we can make sure we have time for photos!  (We are going to be in La Romana in July 2011).  I know it leaves time in between for your guests if you aren't having a cocktail party or something in between, but they can go hang out at the pool bar or go for snacks while they wait because you definitely don't want to be rushed for your photos.

I thnk we decided to do the 5 pm and just take pictures before!

That works too - my FI has a big thing about not seeing me before the wedding so hence the forced earlier ceremony to allow for pics!

I would say 5pm that way once the ceremony is over the sunset starts which will be great for pictures
