Not sure about the night before ... but we are most likely going to se each other before the ceremony for some pictures. I was initially totally against that idea, but after seeing some of the emotional and touching pics that photogs can get during those first moments alone together, when he sees you in your gown and the photog can capture that moment ... I would love some of those type of pictures.

My photog prefers bride and groom to do this because of the looks and emotions she is able to capture this way, and I think those are some of the most unbelieveable pics.

However, Tom and I really haven't discussed this ... so if he is dead-set on the more traditional way, then I'll do that.

But we will likely see each other for breakfast and such first thing in the morning regardless.

We plan on staying together the night before the wedding (no way could I sleep without him!), having breakfast that morning and hanging out until it's time to get ready. Then I'll go off with my girls to beautify and dress.

We're undecided about whether to get photos beforehand, though. Personally, I'm not traditional and don't care. But he doesn't want to see me in my bridal finery until I'm walking down the aisle. Probably will end up being one of those things we decide on last minute!

We stayed separately the night before and didn't see each other until we did the big "reveal" prior to the ceremony/caputured by our photog. it was great for us, but the most important thing is that you and your FH are comfortable with the situation.

It was kind of nice to wake up and have some time to myself the morning of. I got up and wrote my vows, took a long shower, and relaxed. When I got antsy, I headed down to my parents' suite where everyone was getting ready. I hung out there and people filtered in and out until around 2 when the photographers arrived to start photographing us. We did our reveal around 2:30 or 3 and the ceremony was at 5.

i'm a photographer so i have a different perspective perhaps. i'd day 50% of my couples chose to see eachother before so that we can get some pictures done before hand. we set something up that makes that first glance pretty cool. obviously its not happening down the aisle but some people prefer the intimacy of seeing each other with only a few people there. its a super personal decision though. i say if it makes things easier for any reason that do it, but make it special.

I think we will see each other before all day, since our wedding isn't until 5:30pm. And we will def stay in the same room the night before (unless he wants otherwise, but I doubt it.) I think it is a personal preference. Perhaps I would feel differently about it, if I was waking and getting ready for the wedding immediately, but we have a full day before the wedding! I think the idea of a couples massage is a great one. Will have to look into that (I think it is part of my package)
