How soon to start?

@@Mrsktobe we are doing a similar thing to you. We have been married for 5 months now and I will be 29 in January. We are going on my dream trip to Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora and staying in an overwater bungalow. I plan on going off the pill about a month beforehand and starting to try while we are there! Its super scary to think about it but also so exciting!

Just got back from our wedding in Cancun and my father-in-law at his reception speech said, "and we are all expecting a baby in 9 months and 10 minutes!" 

OMG I think I almost turned into a tomato I was sooo embarrassed!

No pressure at all! I'm going off the pill but we will start actively trying in July! Teachers have to have May/June babies!! Extra maternity leave!!

We are getting married in May, and that is when I want to start trying for children (after the wedding of course). Fiance and I will be 23 when married. We have been together for almost 5 years, and I have been wanting a baby for more than half of that! I have waited until marriage…and that is as long as I will wait! Great thread, nice reading everyone's replies.

Also, at this time the FI and I want as many children as possible (as many as we can afford…if you can ever really afford children). This is another reason we want to start sooner rather than later!
