Wedding Fireworks?

Haven't gotten married yet, but plan to call the airline (Air Jamaica) and will definitely check with the TSA before I try to get on a plane with them!

Unfortunately there is no way to take fireworks on a commercial airplane. It's against federal law. I am not sure about private planes.

Cold fireworks are usually allowed.

 

Or how about hiring fire dancers for a grand finale show?

OK - here's the scoop with the sparklers. I called the TSA this afternoon and, sadly, sparklers are considered "Fireworks" which, as downtownlagirl pointed out, are prohibited. I tried to make the argument that the regulations prohibit "Fireworks" and that sparklers different and are not expressly prohibited, but they didn't buy it. You can not bring sparklers or fireworks onto commercial aircraft as checked or carry-on items. I did not ask about "cold" fireworks.

 

Also, I checked out http://www.sparklersonline.com/common_questions/ and they do not ship outside the continental US. 

 

I'm going to look into other sparkler options...

Boo! I wanted our favours for the boys to be mini fireworks and for all the boys to set them off together - I thought this would be a really fun thing for my family & friends and my fiance's fam and friends to do....

 

Can't say we didn't try!
