Since you are having a destination wedding, not all of your guests will go.   Those guests who cannot attend will go to your bridal shower instead where they will bring you your wedding gifts.   I expect to get much nicer gifts since they're not spending money on attending the wedding any way.

I think you should invite them to the bridal shower.  I always think that it is better to give them the option.

I definitely am going to invite them. Plus since we're not doing an AHR, the bridal shower will be their way to help us celebrate, if they can't make it to Jamaica for our wedding.
