How did you choose your wedding site?!

We are having an extremely difficult time deciding on a resort.  There are so many amazing ones! I feel like we'll never decide.

As I've learned from finding BDW, if you keep looking you won't ever decide.  So FI and I had to make a list of what we each wanted out of the resort and compare.  That helped us narrow it down, and then we let our feelings decide.  We had it narrowed down to 2, and there was only one resort that felt right, and if we looked at the other it felt like we were "cheating" on the resort we truly loved and that is how we finally realized it was the right one.

 

I know it sounds easy to just stop looking, but you already know which one you want, it just will take you time to figure out which one is the perfect fit.

If you have the chance try to go do a site visit.  My FI and I just came back from our site visits in Cancun/Riviera Maya and the hotel I had as my top choice changed after I actually saw them all.  It totally helps you decide once you can see it in person- the pictures don't always do them justice (or the opposite).

totally agree! I just came back from my site visit and now i'm even more confused. I thought I was going to come back with a date and place and I just left with more questions.  And time flies when youre on a site visit. Wish I couldnt have seen more. The search continues.
