Suzzane Morel...is she really worth it!

Neysa did my hair and makeup for my wedding and she did an amazing job. I am a little unsure of my hair and makeup on the last night of my wedding (3 day wedding). My hair didn't stay put-- even though I put hair spray in it.  She also put too much makeup on my face for the reception. I still have to see my professional pictures and will decide after I see them but when I look my guest's photos for my reception night-- It looks like too much makeup. I would give her a 3 out of a 5.

I just got back from my wedding in Cabo and can highly recommend Suzanne Morel.  I have very picky bridesmaids and Suzanne's team even passed their tests.  My make up and hair were perfect for my wedding day, and I think that that alone is worth the price.  As for your bridesmaids/MOBs, Suzanne is great but very pricey.  One of my BM's sisters got their hair and make up done for $40 USD at our resort, but my BM's hair alone was $110 through Suzanne Morel. 

 

Moral of the story:  If you want your hair and make up to be flawless on your wedding day, spend the money and go to Suzanne Morel.  As for BMs, a little overpriced if you are looking to save.

We just got married on June 30th and we used Suzanne Morel's company for our hair and makeup. The day before the wedding I went into Cabo to her salon/spa and had my hair and makeup trial as well as a manicure and pedicure for myself and my sister (Maid of Honor). On the day of the wedding 3 lovely ladies came to our resort to do our hair and makeup. One lady did hair, one did makeup, and the other was the coordinator who translated for us and ensured things ran smoothly. I could not have been more impressed with both the work they did and with the service they provided! They were great to work with and my bridesmaids, my mom, and myself were blown away with the quality of their work. My sister is a makeup artist and hair stylist so we have pretty high standards, and we were completely impressed. They use high quality makeup (MAC, Bobbi Brown) and are very talented and skilled. Our hair and makeup held up well through the night and we got a lot of compliments. I would definitely highly recommend using Suzanne Morel's company for your wedding day! We work with both Suzanne Morel and Neysa and they both do a great job!  As a wedding coordinator in town, I would not recommend just anyone and they are the two we recommend.   Their operations are both run very differently but at the end of the day they are the top two vendors for hair and make-up. It is very rare that we run in to issues with either of them and if we do they are very small.  I do always recommend to bridal parties to speak up when getting your hair & make-up done so that they know if you like the direction they are going or if you prefer to do something else. Better then not saying anything and then not being happy. We give them both a thumbs up!

I went with Suzanne and had a great experience. The trial was wonderful and really put me at ease. Her staff is amazing, I can't say enough great things about them! Absolutely worth the money!

The resort is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is incredibly friendly and the chapel is amazing but, what made it all come together for me was Neysa. I just want to express how thrilled I was to have her do my hair and makeup for the big day. From the day I first emailed her to the actual wedding day, she was wonderful to work with! My emails were answered within a day and she arrived on time and ready to listen to my ideas on both the trial session and the wedding day. I asked for some drama as my dress was not your typical 'beachy' attire. I couldn't have been more happy as the result worked out perfectly with the look I was going for. I have had several comments, both on the wedding day and from pictures, about how great my makeup looked but the most important thing was that I felt amazing!! The next time I'm in Mexico I will find a reason to hire her again:) Thank you Neysa for helping make our wedding day perfect!

What types of services have you all had who have used Suzanne Morel? I am looking at having my hair and makeup done of course, as well as lashes. Did you all do the trial for both hair and makeup before? I am wondering if any of you also had a blower done? My hair is pretty fine and I don't know how it is going to react to the Cabo weather!
