Hi I was just reading your response to kid1116. I am thinking of The Royal Hideaway too! Could you tell me specifically about the entertainment at night? Is there a disco or any dancing? I am not much for themed shows.

I don't recall any disco/dancing or themed shows - we literally just went to dinners and then the bar. There was some live music from a band at least one night.

It is VERY close to Playa del Carmen, so if you did want to go dancing, I'm sure they'd arrange for transportation and make recommendations.
