Travel Agent Woes!!!!

okay so remember what I just posted about my travel agent being ( I think) good... I have gotten atleast 4 e-mails from my guests saying that they have emailed my TA and haven't heard a word back from them...

 

Meanwhile my Fiance e-mailed her 2 days ago... not one WORD, CALL.. NOTHING... I AM FUMING... but I don't want to blow up because I don't want to get on bad terms... after all... she is my TA and I'm not finding another one 5 1/2 months before my wedding...

 

What should I do?????????????????

OMG I so happy that I am not the only one out there experiencing this frustration!! I absolutely loved my TA in the beginning as she was no non-sense straight to the point, but I have had complaints from my guests and I wish she would keep in touch and let me know when people book.  I feel like I am bothering my TA when I email her requesting an update on bookings.  And my FI has called her a few times to pay money towards our booking and she does not return his call!! WTF! But then today when I email her asking if she could send me a list of all my guests flight arrival/departure times she leaves me this voice mail stating that resort does not need that and that she does not have time to look up and send me the info on 40 peoples bookings!!! Really that is what I am paying her and as well as my guests for! UGHGHGHGGH

Okay I feel better venting.  I am waiting until tomorrow to call her back otherwise I would be giving her a piece of my mind about her way she spoke on my voice mail!

EVERYONE HAS THIS PROBLEM IT SEEMS.... atleast you know that 44 people are booked.. I know that like 6 are booked because they are immediate family.....  I am soooooooooo frustrated...

 

 

I am hesitant to give mine a Piece of my mind... because last time I made the TA cry and I am not using her any more.....

 

But your TA BETTER GIVE YOU THE DETAILS... tell her to keep an on going spreadsheet so she can do it as it comes in.... and tell her to F#@*# deal with it!!!

ok, great to know.  I hand select the agents on here to make sure that they have a high level of knowledge and customer service so if there were any complaints it would be something we would address.

 

i always recommend that people use an agent that specializes in destination weddings  it is totally different than just doing "regular" vacation planning.

OMG that sucks for you ladies.  We're using a bdw TA and so far she's been great.  She's emailing with updates when guests contact her, ect.  She's returned all of my calls even when i don't leave a message.  I'm so sorry you guys have to deal with that crap when you're trying to make everything nice for your guests.  I know the only reason we're using a TA is to make things easier for our guests.  Not return calls = a headache for guests.  Not good.  hopefully things get better for you ladies!
