Double Wedding - All-Ages vs Adults-Only

Recommended Posts

My FI and I are looking at getting married the same week as her relative and most likely at the same resort I have a couple questions.

There are a couple children that would be nice to have, but not 100% necessary. Is it worth it to give up the smaller Adults-Only resort options in order to have a few children able to attend?

With the Double wedding, some of Our guests will be the same as my FI's relative's guests. If we both do 2 wedding packages, will the overlapping guests that are attending both weddings be able to count for both wedding package minimum numbers? (tricky!)

From those who have been around these forums, we're looking for your top 1-3 recommendations for:

All Ages Resorts?

Adults Only Resorts?

We're looking to have our wedding packages with hotel + airfare + taxes to be around $1500, flying from Calgary, AB, Canada.

We're just beginning the planning, and have set our budgets, and the most important things are:

1) Photography
2) Delicious Food

3) Beautiful resort

Thank you so much!

Look into Adventura Spa Palace/Cove Palace.  The Spa side is adults only & the cove side is kid friendly.  You can get married on the cove side where everyone can be included.  I haven't been to these resorts, but have been to Moon Palace & thought the food was good.  Good Luck!
