that's one of the prettiest ones i've seen actually. I'm worried about traveling on the cruise with it but they really are unique and can be quite beautiful.

I love brooch bouquets! I'm actually making one for myself for my wedding. It took a long time, but it's gorgeous and its so rewarding to know that I'll have it as a keepsake. The best tip I can give is consider your color palette when you're buying the brooches. I had a mix at first and they just weren't looking good together, so I spray painted most of them silver so that it would all be in the same color family and it came together a lot better. There are obviously vendors that will make one for you, but if you like DIY projects, this is a really fun one!

can i ask - how did you connect stems to the brooches? where did you learn to do that?

You buy floral wire (it comes in green and silver, I picked silver so that it wouldn't stand out as much) and you twist the wire around the brooch backing to create the stem. Here is the tutorial that I used - http://www.fancypantsweddings.com/how-to-design-a-brooch-bouquet/
