Going to the bathroom in your wedding dress

I ran into this article today and I thought I should share it with you

I never gave much though about it.   What stuck out to me is the image of the bride walking up facing the toilet.   I guess that's why we have MOHs to hold the dress up while we pee.

Hmm interesting. They don't cover what to do if wearing a body fitting, mermaid style gown (as I am!). I am not going to be able to pull-up the dress! And there are like a ga-gillion buttons up the back. Sigh. Another thing to worry about!

Mermaid dress here too.  Since we will be near our hotel rooms at our resorts, my plan will be to take my mother/sister/then husband with me back to the room and take the dress off, pee, and then put it back on.  Luckily my dress has a zipper (and a few hooks for the built in corset) so it will be faster.

 

I will hydrate well before heading to teh salon for hair and makeup and then pretty much stop drinking fluids until the reception.  At that point if I have to go take the dress off once it won't be the end of the world, but if you drink all day then you will have to go through the effort multiple times.  (And don't forget if you are drinking a lot of alcohol that once you break the seal....)

Haha too funny, but so true!!!!!  LOL Why did we all choose a mermaid gown?!

I had a mermaid style as well and I had to take my dress off everytime I needed to use the bathroom, except mine had a zipper so it really didn't take that long.

I know this is going to sound weird - but this was one of the highlights on my wedding....it was so hilarious with my MOH that it was memorable - I figured to just embrace it...we were dying laughing and are still laughing at it.....
