cost of bd photo

I am going to luck out -- my former roommate is just beginning to get into the photography business and she offered to do an engagement shoot, shoot our legal ceremony, and shoot our AHR for free. We'd only need to pay for the photos. FI and I are really not keen on the engagement shoot and don't know if we're going to have a professional take pictures at our legal ceremony, but I suggested she do the boudoir session and she enthusiastically agreed! I KNOW she will be an amazing photographer - she majored in it and art (photojournalism?) in college (I believe) and I've seen some of her pictures. Let me know if any of you DC/VA/MD girls would be interested in seeing her work after she gets up and running. The first year or so I'm sure she would offer terrific deals to build up her portfolio.

I just got the price back from my photographer. It is $450 with $100 print credit. His work his amazing though, so I know I will get my monies worth.

Jaime~ I am doing mine on October 6th! I am using Lynn Michelle. She is out in Irving. I found her on the website Leigh posted. Hopefully all goes well. I do not know anyone that used her. My Bff and MOH is a photographer (we are in Jersey / Philly area) and I think she is going to do mine for me (as soon as I drop 10lbs). She is an amazing photographer with a degree in photography. Though she hasn't done pro BD pics, she really knows her stuff!

If some of you Philly/Jersey/Del girls are interested I can see if she would be willing to do some sessions and get prices for you all! Let me know ladies.....

Mo...I am not sure where I am shooting mine yet. My photog is going to call me later today to discuss details. I know I don't want to do the shoot at my house. I will let you know as soon as I find out. I am bringing a friend with me. I have a male photog, so I am going to need someone there so I don't feel weird.
