My Real Touch/Silk DIY Bouquet!

Recommended Posts

Right from the start, I had a vision in my head as to what I wanted my bouquet to look like. Turquoise is my favourite colour and to no surprise, is my wedding colour. I needed turquoise in my bouquet some how!

My FI and I are getting married at the Riu Negril with the Free Wedding package that actually does come with a bouquet and boutenniere, but the choices are pretty slim.  The nicest one from the choices consists of purple orchids which just don't go with our turquoise theme.  So, I went with the next best thing!

Ordered the exact flowers I wanted, in the exact colours I wanted.

With some playing around, I am absolutely in love with my bouquet!  I still plan on changing the ribbon a bit before the big day, as well as trim the end, but the flower arrangement is staying as is.

I'm so glad I went with real touch and silk flowers. :)

Your flowers are very pretty. I'm considering using real touch/silk flowers in our wedding. Our colors are aqua, lime green and orange and like you I also want aqua to be in my bouquet as well as my bridesmaids. I know finding blue flowers in Jamaica is not going to happen, so getting the next best thing, silk flowers may be it. I also like the idea of being able to keep my bouquet forever. The amount of money spent on flowers these days is ridiculous!
