Have you tried swimming? Deep water workouts are pretty good.

My physiotherapist says the stationary bike is ok as well. I lost a bit before I tore the ligament in my ankle, but I haven't been very good since then. Time to get back at it!

Hey girls!

I'm getting married July 2012 but want to get cracking early. I am such an emotional eater so I'm nervous when the wedding gets closer I will just be pigging out! haha but I'm serious.Of course I too want to be in the best shape of my life...not only look amazing in my dress but the whole week in my bathing suit! :)  I signed up for a 1/2 marathon this May 1st. I've been running about 3 miles a couple times a week and now my long runs on Saturdays.

I haven't seen like anyyy results...I eat fairly healthy for years now..love fruits & veggies..I'm thinking I need to actually write down my calorie intake ya know? That I am hoping will help so I don't reach for the extra bite or piece. The weekends kill me like in social settings at friends houses and out.

You girls have trouble with weekend eating too?

Weekends are definitely a challenge for me also. My best friends are trying to get healthier right now, so its actually helpful that they are also being calorie-conscious and they don't offer too much temptation!

I'm hoping once Spring comes, it'll be easier to get out of the house and stay busy on weekends which hopefully will keep me from bored-eating.

Do you have an iphone? they have a bunch of great calorie-tracking FREE apps.

Welcome to everyone and good luck with your goals!!  I love having a positive place here where we can all encourage each other!

Great job Kya!  I succumbed to a milkshake tonight (but is it a teensy weensy bit better because it was frozen yogurt?) so I am grateful to be starting Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred tomorrow!

Hi Ladies. I dont think I've checked in about a MONTH!!! I've been slacking. But I started back on 2/28 and I did my first WW (online) weigh on March 7th and I was down 4lbs for my first week. So i'm excited to weigh in again on 3/14.

I am going to gym at least 5 or 6 times a week for Cardio and 2 of those nights I do a "Body Pump" Class @ Golds Gym.. Body Pump class is where you do a lot of tonning strength exercises to music and you work all the major msucle groups.  So i'm liking that alot.
