I would have to say it depends on your level of fitness now? If you're coming off the couch... definitely Shred, but if you are fairly active P90X will do it and if you are highly active and in fairly good shape already I would go for Insanity. My advice is start slowly and build yourself up and you will likely succeed! Good luck and keep up the motivation!!!

Really need to start getting in shape for the wedding, but not sure which DVD to do (Shred, P90X or Insanity).  Any recommendations?  Which one yields the best results?

Hi BrideJul!

I can only voutch for Jillians workout videos which I think are awesome! :) I started with the Shred and saw great results! I now own 6 of her videos and love all of them- they are great because they are 20-40 minute workouts, which are great for people like me who don't have a lot of time to work-out.  Hope this helps! :)

Hi Ladies!  I am four months from my wedding date (scary to see that in writing!) and I really need to get in shape.  I eat fairly healthy but need to increase my activity level greatly.  I plan to end my gym membership (haven't been there in AGES!) but need to find something to do at home that won't kill me after being sedentary for so long!  I am reading that many brides are recommending 30 Day Shred so I plan to go that route to start.  I work this weekend (doing overnight respite care all weekend) so my plan is to start Monday morning.  Wish me luck!  I need motivation and accountability.  I want to feel beautiful on my wedding day but even more importantly, I want to feel more energetic and live more healthy.  Wish me luck!

I have the Zumba at home DVDs and they are awesome!  totally recommend them.  I'm not sure how much they cost since I borrowed them from my sister-in-law but I'm think they are around the same price as any of the at-home set's... probably somewhere between $80 and $100 for the set.

I'm keep getting on and off the wagon and I just need to dig deep and stay on!  I bought my dress a few weeks ago thinking that that will help with motivation but I'm still in the same spot!

I worked out at the gym at work today, but I'm looking to stick to an at home routine.  I own P90x, Insanity, TurboFire, chalene Extreme, Brazilian Butt Lift and Zumba... You'd think I'd be all set!  lol...  I would really like to stick to the Turbo Fire program, but it seems like alot of you really like P90x...

I have 25lbs to lose and a lot of toning needed!

Hi Ladies!!!

After reading through several posts, I'm glad to see the amount of support on here!  Hopefully it will help motivate me.  I'm on week 2 of Weight Watchers and I have lost 4lbs so far.  I need to lose not just for my wedding, but to get back into a healthy shape/form in general.  I look forward to reading tips and whatnot, I think I'm going to look into the 30 Day Shred to add to my Weight Watchers also and see what that can do.  My only problem is its hard for me to get motivated to stick with it.  I picked out my wedding dress today, so hopefully that will be a HUGE motivation!
