Bali honeymoon help

We just booked our honeymoon trip to Bali!  Has anyone been there recently? I would love advice on excursions, best beaches, overrated places, etc.  We'll be staying in Jimbaran Bay, the Gili Islands, Ubud, and Seminyak.  We're looking for inside tips that maybe we wouldn't find on Trip Advisor!    Thank you ladies!!

I have been going to Bali for the last 20 years and can point you in the right direction re things to do in Bali. Let me know what you are interested in eg for sight seeing, restaurants, shopping etc and i'll try and help you out.

 

It looks like you are staying in some fantastic locations. Fresh seafood on the beach in Jimbaran is a must - you choose your own seafood and they BBQ it for you over coconut husks and then you eat your meal watching the sun set over the ocean.

 

How long do you have in Bali because there is so much to see and do?  Look forward to your reply

Bali  is certainly a time to enjoy and relax.There are a few activities which you surely will want to explore. The Elephant Safari Park is certainly something you and your family will never forget. Nobody should get tired, or complain of weary legs, since they will travel while sitting atop of an elephant. With your guide along, take advantage of experiencing the white waters during a water rafting tour. The tours in Bali are offers a variety of unforgettable experiences at reasonable fees when planned through a local tour agency.

 

Dance is very much part of the Bali culture, and something you surly do not want to miss. Before you leave, visit a Bali theatre for some of the most amazing shows ever known. Before you end your trip, surly you will want to learn a bit of Balinese dancing after your private dance performance while you may be relaxing in the garden of your private Bali Villa. Bali is absolutely amazing and breathtaking. The natural volcanoes, mountainsides, along with the exotic animals and birds, certainly explain why Bali is also called, "Land of The Gods." Bali certainly is a paradise.

If anyone else has suggestions, I'd love it.  We'll be going to Jimbaran, Gili Islands, Ubud, and Seminyak.  We already have one dive set up, and we are staying at amazing places.  I am SO excited!

Hi everyone!

My fiance and I are thinking of having our honeymoon in Bali too! (sometime next year)

 

We are considering renting Villa Bulung Daya for our honeymoon. (http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/61983-bali-bride/) It is located in Tabanan. 

 

as anyone stayed at this villa, or have travelled around Tabanan?
