How do you want to feel on your wedding day? I agree with the previous ladies who have posted. #1 is definitely more elegant and #2 is more fun and flowing? I had the same dilemma when I was choosing my wedding dress and I think ultimately, you have to choose based on how you want to feel that day.

 

Alternatively, since you've gotten such great deals on the dresses, why don't you wear #1 for your ceremony and #2 for your reception?? Be elegant and graceful for your ceremony and party it up for your reception. You get best of both worlds!!!

You look fabulous in both dresses! But I agree with the other girls, you look so happy in # 2, that seems to be the one you want. At the end of the day when you look at your pictures, will you be smiling remembering the dress you love! Choose whichever one puts a smile on your face. And I think the idea of using the other as a cocktail dress is great.

i showed my oh a pic of pronovias galente which i think looks a bit like dress 2....

 

i just pointed at it in a very casual way and asked if he liked it and he said it was fab!  then i pointed at another pic in my mag of a dress with a similar shape to dress 1.  he said he liked it but the other one is hotter!!!  he will never remember this conversation trust me!!

 

sooooooooooooo, i am going to wear dress 2 for the ceremony and am hoping to do a mini TTD as part of my photo package and then if i can get 1 altered to a little white dress i will change into it for the evening!!!  do you think this will be possible?

That sounds like a perfect plan. You'd be amazed what a good seamstress can do.  I'm sure it can be altered somehow.
