My FI and I are really leaning to having our wedding at the Hard Rock, were your guests ok with the high cost of the rooms there?  We are really struggling between having it somewhere that we think would be amazing and some place that our friends and family can afford.

Hi Ladies! I haven't posted in a while just got back into the swing of wedding planning. Any more 2014 brides for the hard rock yet? I am booked for March 2014. So far i got my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses and save the dates done. I chose the elegant ivory collection for the ceremony but nothing yet for the reception. Does anyone know how i can work directly with the decor company to get some photos of prior weddings that they have done? I'm not crazy about the reception tables from the Collin cower collections. Does anyone have photos of a pink and ivory wedding that they did for their reception? I also booked HDC Photography for my video and photos

 

Also, If any ladies need a calligrapher mine is FANTASTIC! She is working on my save the dates as we speak. She happens to be located locally for me but from the reviews i read and from what we have spoken about she gets orders from all over the country. Her website is www.calligraphybymichele.blogspot.com she does beautiful work and is very reasonably priced.

 

Like everyone else i haven't gotten much information from the hard rock but i was able to go down a few months ago for a site visit and they were great at the resort. The Miami office i have nothing good to say about. I have been doing my own planning and getting tips from the brides on this site.

Hello ladies!!! I recently became engaged and my fiancé and I want to be married in Punta Cana. I have the same problem as every other bride, so many resorts how do you pick one. I keep coming back to the Hard Rock and the Majestic Elegance and my fiancé is interested in the Luxury Bahia Emeralda. Can anyone share some info to this newbie on why I should pick one resort over the other???

Hi mjhoddi. I was between the same two resorts. I have stayed at both and chose the hard rock. They are both beautiful but we chose hard rock because it is a bigger resort and had more activities for our guest. Also, i found the food to be much better at the hard rock, I think Majestic is more elegant and the hard rock is more party so it depends on your vision you have!

Does anyone know if you can add flowers to the aisle of sashes to the chairs in the compliments package? Or is it what you see is what you get?

 

Also do you remember how much each additional chair is to the packages?
