Renee will probably tell you that you have to go with Creative Punta Cana, but it you deal directly with the WEDDING DEPARTMENT IN PUNTA CANA theyll give you quotes, you can even work directly with Caribbbean Celebrations I would suggest if you want your wedding here send in your contract ASAP. Im getting Married March 15, 2013 and by March 10th of this year my desired wedding time slot was already booked :eek: Rene didnt follow through or respond to emails and "stood us up" for our phone conference after we changed our work schedules to be available (My FI is a tech engineer and Im a teacher so middle of the day time for phone conference was problematic) she then emailed us 45 mins after out meeting time to say she wasnt able to speak with us. We're working through destinationweddings.com and she handled my switch that afternoon and the next day gave us the information for our new person (Lisa) who so far is awesome Fi and are are currently debating on a photographer

i have been emailing and getting quotes from Caribbean Celebrations.  I have a phone conference with Renee on May 8th...so should i not tell her that I am using Caribbean Celebrations?  I don't have a contact for the hotel yet as my wedding is not until may 29 2013.  Hmm..you had bad experiences with Renee??  She takes a long time to respond to emails. Was it a pain to switch? Which photographer are you using if you don't mind me asking?

On their website is pictures. This is a link they sent me.. They will also send you more information, but they really do not do any of that until 3 months before your wedding, then pass it on to your onsite wedding coordinator 30 days before your wedding.

Hi Ladies, We are booked for 12/13/12 and was wondering if anyone has suggestions/tips on the group booking.  Most of our guests are going through our travel agent, but there are a few that have not and now we are told that we can't get credit toward the group booking incentives for those people.  It seems crazy that we wouldn't just because of how they booked since they are all staying at the Hard Rock.  Has anyone run into this?

Is anybody able to confirm if it's true that you have to pay $500 if you use an outside photographer? I know HDC you don't but was wondering about Photosouvenir, cause I was thinking of booking for them.  My wedding is in May 2013.

I am getting married at the Hard Rock on July 27th and I just emailed my wedding coordinator this morning regarding the outside vendor price. She said any outside vendor is $500. May2013brides, where did you find out that HDC doesn't apply? They are one of our options for photography that may be the deciding factor!

Did you ever hear anything? The same thing happened to me! I was supposed to have a call April 3! (From Maylen) Never happened.....I tried confirming our conference call 3 times before I got a response from someone, to which they said that she no longer was with the company and that I will hear from someone 90 days out! Ugh.....REALLY???!!!
