Wedding Dress Alterations -- Cost

OK just to let you know, i visited my alterations lady this morning and she quoted me $40-$60 for a hem, brining in the boob pat and sewing in cups!

 

Isn't that hard to believe?! I was like, serious?! But she does it out of her home and I'm guessing must not be hard up for cash....

That sounds like very normal alterations. My BM dress was WAAAY too big for me and it only cost like $50, and my sisters wedding dress was around 200. I would for sure check somewhere else!
