Anti-Malaria Pills?

Has anyone else been told by travel clinics to take anti-malaria pills for the DR? Did any past brides? We are trying to decide if I should take them or not because we were going to TTC during the wedding, but now I don't know what to do! 

 

Do I take the pills and postpone TTC? Or take them and still try? Or not take them at all? I have had my heart set on TTC on the trip (10 days to go), so I was wondering what other brides have done.
