WEATHER IN APRIL FOR OUR WEDDING

Hi all we'll be heading to the Gran Bahia Riviera Maya in 3months time for our wedding has anyone been at this time of year? Whats the dily sunshine/weather like? Im scared that it's going to rain during our big day at 3pm?!!

I'm going in April too! I researched it and April seems to be a pretty good month there. But it is still scary, you can never know for sure what will happen.

I have been in April before.  The weather was perfect!  Hot, sunny, clear skies.

April is definitely a great month to go (and why I chose April as my wedding month).  When we were there for a week it was beautifu and sunny.  Slightly cooler at night which was great for the gentlemen to wear slacks to dinner.  And the 3pm wedding time is nice because the hot noon sun has started to wear off.

There was only one rain storm while we were there and it was in the evening.  They said that's usually when it rains during the month of April.

We were there in April last year and it was POURING!  The good news is that everyone we asked said it was really unusual weather and it hardly ever rained.  If it does rain, it's supposed to last for an hour or two and then clear up.  Since we got the "highly unusual" weather out of the way for you last year, I'm sure it'll be perfect this year!!

It is supposed to be one of the least rainy months which is why I picked it to get married in.  However during their "rain" season it still is quick showers and then the sun comes out.

I'm at the end of April... April 29, 2011 in Playa del Carmen. I thought that was a safe time for a outdoor wedding
