What to do with your engagement ring during the ceremony

I haven't even thought about this, but such a good question!  I think I will probably leave my ering on my left hand and just place the wedding band on over it, then switch them around after the ceremony as well.

 Yeah, I preferred it this way, because then my ering was in my pictures of the hand ceremony, and the placing of the rings and all those ood pics!

Love the ceremony wording.  I am getting two wedding bands.  One for the top and one for the bottom.  I will have to figure out how we are going to do this.  Hmmmmm.......

I am also looking at two wedding bands, one for each side of my Ering. I was thinking about incorporating both into the ceremony, but that just seems complicated. I think I'll just put them all on in the right order afterwards.

I too have been thinking about this, I really like the ceremony script idea, and if that is not possible, I will just put it over the Ering, and make the switch after... I like the idea of having it in the hand ceremony pictures as well, let us know what you decided on!!! and THANKS for starting this thread, I was about to start one myself if I didnt find anything in search.

This is very interesting.  Anybody have any ideas for a right hand band?  That's what I am doing for my wedding band.  I would put my e-ring on my right hand during the ceremony and then do the old swapperoo, but that finger is a half size bigger so that isn't  going to work.  Should I just use my right hand during the ceremony?  Any ideas would be helpful!
