Check out DJ ASE's stuff on www.allstarmixshows.com. He spins in Toronto, I love his stuff, great for parties and the mixes run about an hour so you can download a few and play them back to back. Open it on a Chrome browser, right click and save as on the video file. You'll need them on an iPod/mp3 player though, they're too long for CDs.

Hi Ladies

I am probably going to be annoying over the next few days with last minute questions so please forgive me....

My sister-in-law made our guest lovely OOT bags. I am trying to figure out what might be fun to go into the OOT bags for kids. i don't want to put immodium or aspirin in theirs but don't want to just skip them either. Right now I have shutter shades, some candy, beach balls, and flashing rings... please let me know what you may have put into your bags for children or let me know if you have any suggestions! Thank you in advance!

Hello ladies!

My fiance and I got engaged back in April and from the beginning, we knew we wanted to have a destination wedding! I'm so glad to have found BDW and have spent hours browsing thru the forums and reading reviews! We started out wanting to have our destination wedding in Punta Cana b/c of the beautiful beaches there, but now we're looking at Riviera Maya since it seems like it would be a more cost effective option for our guests, and having more to do in the area outside the resort is also a plus.

After tons of research, we've narrowed it down to a few resorts, with Moon Palace and Azul Sensatori being at the top of the list. It seems like all the brides have nothing but good things to say about their experiences at these resorts! I love everything about Moon Palace, in terms of the resort itself, amenities, the feedback from other brides and travelers, etc.

However, I'd say my only concern are the beaches at both of these resorts - that it's rocky, with lots of seaweed, and the water isn't as blue. Maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of something small, but I feel like the whole point of having a beach wedding is to have beautiful clear blue waters in the pictures! My fiance has a huge family and they're all going, so this would be like a big family vacation for them, and with a lot of them having never been to the caribbean, he wants to show them beautiful beaches as well.

Have anyone else experienced this and has it been a problem? Are there other beaches nearby within walking distance for pictures?

Any feedback would be helpful! We want to book a place soon, as we're aiming for a June 2014 wedding and a lot of the dates are already getting booked up!

Thanks in advance!

Did any of the past brides use a credit card to pay for their stay at the resort and/or the wedding? Were you charged an international credit card fee?

Ugh... YES! I used my debit card and was charged the international fee from my bank! Not sure if credit cards do the same? But I'm pretty sure most banks do if you use your debit.

Thank you. I'm glad I realized this now because we leave next week. I just called capital one and they don't charge a fee so I'll have to use that card while I'm there.

I just realized you were there not too long ago. Did they charge you for extra hours at the reception? My reception is from 7-10 but I thought they only charged extra if you needed the bar for longer than 2 hrs . . . I didn't budget for this.

Yes, I had Ivan Luckie for my photographer so I only had to have a day pass for him and his assistant. The same with my DJ.

Did you tell your coordinator that you had an outside DJ? Our wedding is next week and I am a little worried because I have an outside DJ but I have not told them because I don't want them to charge me the $500. I purchased a pass for the DJ though . . . any advice would be helpful. THank you!

They did charge me extra! Only 2 hours were included for us so we extended ours an extra 2 hours as well. They charge $60 per table per hour. We had 5 tables so we ended up paying an extra $600 to extend our reception. I noticed your leaving REAL soon!! Have they not sent you a purchase order yet?
